The ETX900-TSO certified battery is the first ever TSO approved lithium battery, EarthX has used all their experience and manufacturing knowledge to become the first ever to produce an FAA approved, lithium, 12volt battery. 

What does it take to have a FAA approved lithium battery? It takes passing through a daunting list of nearly 200 required tests! As the first company to achieve this goal, EarthX now holds design approval, and manufacturing approval to produce the ETX900-TSO battery.

They have a thermal runaway containment and venting system, can be used with an 80 amp or lower alternator, and are wired for the addition of a panel mounted "battery fault" annunciator light.

Super easy installation for the ETX900-TSO battery. If you're replacing a Concorde RG35 or Gill G-35 battery, this is the ticket! This custom designed insert is a fire retardant, foam spacer that fits snugly into the existing battery box. 

Light weight aluminum battery box. This battery box was engineered to be strong enough to withstand 30 G's of force yet only weighs 7 ounces! This unique design allows for simple, easy installation.  

The thermal battery box is designed to protect the battery in engine compartment installations from periods of high temperature (up to 1 hour), such as after shutdown, and from radiant heat from hot surfaces like exhaust systems during and after flight. This stainless-steel box has a mirror finish to minimize the effect of radiant heat, and it has a high-performance insulating foam layer between the box and battery to reduce the effect of convection heat. The hold-down tab comes with a mounting fixture that can hold a cooling air duct up to 1” in diameter. This battery box was engineered to be strong enough to withstand 30 G's of force yet only weighs 1 pound.
